progressive dinner
SATURDAY, june 22, 2019
The Fellowship Committee is exploring the idea of having a Progressive (Traveling) Dinner on Saturday, June 22 if there is enough interest. Covenant did this for years and it's a great way to meet new people of all generations and get reacquainted with church friends. This is an adult only evening.
For those not familiar with the concept we would have members sign up to be host homes for appetizers, main dish and dessert. Other participants would sign up to provide appetizers, main dish, side dishes, dessert and beverages.
The evening would look something like this:
5:30-6:45: Drinks and Appetizers at one or two host homes.
7:00-8:15: Main Course as smaller groups at various host homes. You dictate how many you host at your home.
8:30-9:45: Dessert as one large group at one host home.
There will be a signup sheet in the narthex until April 28th. If you would be interested please put your name under the column you would be interested in: hosting or providing food/drinks.
