Before coming to Covenant
- You no longer need to pre-register for worship.
- If you are feeling sick, stay home.
- By entering our church home, you attest that you are not currently experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms.
- Review and comply with the most updated information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding COVID-19, located at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/index.html
Expected Actions Onsite. Based on CDC guidelines:
- If you are fully vaccinated, masks/face coverings will not be required when in the building or on campus. Also, if you are fully vaccinated, you will not be required to physically distance yourself from others. The CDC considers an individual to be “fully vaccinated” two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
- If you are not fully vaccinated, masks/face coverings are recommended starting when you get out of your mode of transportation. Masks/face coverings are recommended when in the building including classrooms, hallways, common areas, and bathrooms. Please also maintain at least a six-foot distance between you and anyone else when in the building including, but not limited to, in meetings, in common areas, in restrooms, and when walking in hallways.
- Covenant does not require employees, members, or guests to be vaccinated to return to our church home.
- Comply with these policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws, orders, directives, and guidelines related to COVID-19.
With the above in place, we plan to return to normal, pre-covid worship starting on Sunday, June 6.
- In person worship will take place in the sanctuary.
- Singing of hymns will be allowed.
- Church pews will be configured as they were pre-covid. The side sections will be reserved for those who choose to keep six feet of distance. Please allow one empty row between households in these sections.
- Food and drink may be served as determined by the appropriate committee.
Thank you,
Covenant’s Session
