Covenant has a strong history of mission giving. The Mission Festival was a time to come together to celebrate some amazing non-profits, raise money for their missions, and have fun doing it. We enjoyed great fun and an opportunity to help missions that are near and dear to our hearts!

Mission Festival Partner Organizations
We gave 100% of the Mission Festival proceeds to our key mission partners.
Proceeds from silent auction, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace sales went to these four organizations:

- CROSS Ministries: local Presbyterian homelessness and hunger prevention ministry
- DMARC: local interfaith agency meeting basic human needs
- Self-Development of People: national/international Presbyterian partnering with low-income community groups to change lives and communities
- Our partner community San Isidro, El Salvador: international partnership supporting development in a rural community in El Salvador
Freewill offerings for dinner went to:
- Drake Head Start: local preschool preparing young children and their families for life experiences now and in the future
- Des Moines Hunger Hike: local event raising awareness and funds to alleviate the problem of hunger
- Habitat for Humanity Rock the Block: local event to help low-income residents with needed home repair and maintenance
- Campus Crusade for Christ: international mission partnership with Covenant family member Barb Brown
