Interest has been expressed to go hear Rev. Adam Hamilton at the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, the largest Methodist Church in the United States with over 23,000 members and four locations in greater Kansas City.
The charter bus would take us to Leawood leaving Covenant at 10:30 a.m. and return by 10:00 – 10:30 p.m., depending on how many stops made during the 3 ½ hour coach ride back home. $20 per person will get you a seat on the coach.
10:30 a.m. – Bus leaves Covenant’s north parking lot.
12:00 or 12:30 p.m. - Rest stop (30 minutes) in Bethany or Cameron
2:00 or 2:30 p.m. – Meal stop, only 10 minutes from the Church, at Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que (Formerly Oklahoma Joes B-B-Q ). Menus will be available on the bus for you to determine your order from one of the best B-B-Q restaurants in K C. Cost of meal is NOT included in the $20 transportation fee – you order specifically what you like.
3:30 – 3:45p.m. - Arrive at Church of the Resurrection where we will be greeted by our church host for a tour of the main sanctuary.
5:00 p.m. - Contemporary Service with Rev. Adam Hamilton preaching.
6:15 – 6:30 p.m. Coach heads home after the service is over.
8:30 p.m. - Rest Stop (30 minutes) in Cameron or Bethany, Missouri.
10:00 – 10:30 p.m. Arrive back at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Arrive at Covenant by 10:15 a.m. so we can get you on board and checked in so the bus can leave promptly at 10:30 a.m.
Bring your morning coffee or other favorite beverage and snacks as we will not have a food stop before lunch at approximately 2:00 p.m. We will have a brief restroom stop at Bethany or Cameron, Missouri, on the way down and on the way back.
