Sunday Morning 9:15 - 10:15 AM (September through May)
•Nursery: birth through 2 years (C11 Classroom) Available at 9:00 a.m. Covenant nursery uses the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) curriculum series Wee Believe: God's Word for God's People (Toddler.) The general learning goals for the toddler group include:
To know God loves them.
To know God loves us all.
To experience the church as a safe loving place.
To hear stories from the Bible
•Children: 3 years old - 5th Grade Preschool and Kindergarten These classes use the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) curriculum series Wee Believe: God's Word for God's People (Preschool.) the series theme is "We Belong to God." In addition to the goals listed above, the general learning goals for this age group is to help them to recognize key Bible persons by name.
1st - 5th Grade These children use the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) curriculum series Wee Believe: God's Word for
God's People as well. This series theme is "Messengers of God." the children study the following messengers of God: Joseph, Moses and Aaron, Deborah, Elijah, Amos, Isaiah, Micah, Jeremiah, Esther and Zechariah.
Wednesday Evening Classes 6:30-7:30PM
The Wednesday evening educational program for children is set in a rotational model including storytelling, crafts, snack, and games revolving around a single theme.
Covenant Youth Choir
The Youth Choir rehearses from 6:15 - 6:30 each Wednesday evening. Participation in the choir is not mandatory for participation in the education program, but all children from age 3 through 6th grade are invited to participate. The choir performs during the Sunday morning worship service approximately once a month throughout the program year.
